Fitting & Next Steps
When your clear aligners arrive, you’ll come back to our office so we can ensure they fit correctly and make any needed adjustments. We’ll give you detailed guidance on how to wear and care for your aligners. Typically, each set is worn for about 2 weeks, for 20-22 hours each day. You'll visit us approximately every 6 weeks to receive your next sets of aligners and allow us to monitor your progress, ensuring your smile transformation is on track.
Extractions
Extractions are always our last option — saving your smile is our number one priority. However, a problematic tooth is sometimes more trouble than it's worth. Your doctor may recommend an extraction as the best way to get your oral health back on the right path. With gentle techniques, and local anesthesia or sedation, decaying teeth can be removed to alleviate your discomfort or to make room for dental implants, a bridge, or another type of tooth replacement.
